Disability-Specific Considerations
For over 23 years, Ride-Away has been delivering freedom to people with disabilities by assisting them with their transportation needs. We have acquired a vast array of knowledge and experience with many different kinds of disabilities and disorders. Our expertise and genuine care for our customers has allowed us to pave the way in the vehicle modification industry. We will do our part to get you back out into the community, doing the things and going to the places that are important to YOU.
Below are some of the more common disabilities and disorders that our customers have, but they only represent a small selection of the clients we serve. Each section below describes the disability or disorder and its impact on a person's driving and/or transportation needs. The sections also describe possible modified vehicle equipment needs. It is important to note that the needs listed may not be applicable to everyone and that if you want to drive, a personal appointment with a Driver Rehabilitation Specialist is always recommended.
